I took the SAT and had it sent to UNCCFeb 17 2011Communications
I took the SAT and had it sent to UNCC. I applied and got a welcome letter a few weeks later.

UNCC is a state school. If your score and gpa meets requirement your pretty much in. There are no interviews etc. I would recommend that they be slightly higher than minimum if you want to definitely get in though, but I've never heard of someone not getting that has met the minimums.

I just applied and was accepted within two weeks. If you want to achieve lameness and take steps away from greatness by attending UNC Charlotte just join a couple of clubs in high school (because I think they are checking for that now LMAO) and apply even if your grades suck UNCC loves slackers.

Have a solid high schoolOct 15 2009Finance
Have a solid high school GPA ( > 3.5)
Have solid SAT scores ( > 550 each section, higher = better chances)

Getting in isn't too difficult because the university is trying to raise more money via larger undergraduate student body.

I made good grades, and a great ACT score to get int.
I would recommend students have about a 3.5 GPA and have great ACT OR SAT scores.
Female
It is competitive and selectiveApr 22 2009Unknown
It is competitive and selective. You need to do well on the ACT's (20+) or Sat's (1400+) and the average HS GPA coming in was 3.25+ . So it is not easy.
